Fauji Foundation Medical College / Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) was established in the year 2000. The Medical College is recognized by the Pakistan Medial and Dental Council (PM&DC). The College has 21 Departments out of which 7 pertain to Basic Sciences and 14 to Clinical Sciences, with an authorized strength of 500 students. FUMC has a permanent faculty of 118 and visiting/honorarium faculty of 23. Allowed to admit 100 MBBS students per year by PMDC. Presently the College has 509 students on its strength. Four batches of MBBS comprising of 384 students have graduated till 2009.
