Khyber Medical University (KMU) has announced extension in the registration date for Entrance Test 2010 in all the public and private sector medical and dental colleges of the province till Tuesday, August 10, 2010. This decision was taken in a meeting held here at KMU under the chairmanship of VC KMU Prof. Dr. Muhammad Hafizullah, while the newly appointed Registrar Dr. Fazal Mahmood , Dir. Admissions & Academics Prof Dr. Shad Muhammad, Treasurer Mr.Abdus Sadiqque, Cont of Exam Prof Dr. Shahnaz Akhtar and other officials of KMU also attended the meeting.
It is worth mentioning here that in view of the severe floods in the history of the province in a high level meeting of Department of Higher Education, Education Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) and KMU has already decided that the Entrance Test 2010 scheduled to be held on 8th August for admission in all the public and private medical / dental colleges of the province has been postponed till further order. In light of the above decision KMU has also decided to extend the registration date till Tuesday, 10th August 2010 excluding Saturday and Sunday.
The meeting shows deep grief on the loss of precious lives and destruction caused by resent rains and floods. After through discussion it was decided anonymously that the registration date for Entrance Test 2010 in medical and dental colleges of the province may be extended to Tuesday, 10th August, however the new date for Entrance test will be decided in a high level joint meeting of Department of Higher Education, ETEA and KMU to be held on Monday, 9th August.
Mean while KMU Directorate of Admissions has directed all those candidates who has not submitted their DMCs of F.Sc Part II along with registration forms, they must submit their DMCs of respective F.Sc Part II after declaration of their results, otherwise their admit card will be stand cancelled.
