Here is the experience of one of my friend on medarena who recently appeared in the uhs entry test and i quote

aftr appearng in 2011 uhs entry tst my thnkng side abt entry tst has been changed !
as was nt soo difficlt as it was presnted to me by my seniors!
secndly,i thnk one shld nt go tooo much deep in the syllabus as the Q's asked by them were mainly general and max. ans's a studnt knws evn wthout prepration!
so my brotherly suggestion to evryone is nt to join any sort of prepration acadmies ,as i did, bcz u ill find nthng out of syllabus!
so good luck to evryone who ill appear in upcmng tsts!

Thank you sarmad for sharing your experience. Most of the entry test preparation acadamies are just making money.
i think if entry test is easy than the competition is getting tougher.
sarmad how was your english and chemistry part?

chemistry test was bit easy but man you have to prepare yourself for english as it's synonms were difficult and you have to have a strong grip on your vocubalary and grammar if you want good score in tht part!

yeah sarmad, but vocabulary cant be made strong over night. What about biology?

want to make vocabulary good just take my one advice and that one is that just read two words that looks or seems to be interesting to you.
e.g
cheeky=rude,"ziddi"
lulu=person havng handsome personality
comely=beautyful girl
means to say use them in ur regular language as a joke specially wth friends and siblings that will be fun and will help u too!
atleast this method helped me alot not jst literally but practically in entry test as well!

I also appered in mcat 2011 first time. My experience is too bad about this test. My mostly marks cut down in bio.
I will say only that if u have full command on fsc slaybus u can easily get 900+ marks in entry test.
I openly say that joining a academy for prepration is just time wasting.
Mostly students got nothing in acadmies but waste of their time and money.
Now i have decided to reappear in mcat 2012 for admission. But i am not specially repeating my fsc. I decide to take exam of my fsc part 2 to increse marks.
Me also doing bsc in agri sciences from agri uni faisalbad.
INSHALLAH I will do my best for medical admission.
I request to all my seniors who have passed mcat or appearing in test 2011 must give me some suggestions for success.

malkera can i ask ur marks in fsc n entry test, basically i have also an experience of 2 years,last year it was bad bt ths year its better,i suggest u to concenterate wholly on ur fsc sullabus n don't join academies which are bzy in making money,jst learn the single topic by heart at a tym n thn make mcqs in ur mind, ths will help u a lot..

yeah not every academy is good. Only few of them are good. These acadamies are getting admitted thousands of students for sake of making money.
