Salaam all, when you are doing your rotations/electives/observerships you should always try your best to impress your colleges. the best way to do this is always by studying the topics that will be most likely asked.

Another way to impress your colleges is by knowing current research and to be able to present it in a casual manner. An extreemly usefull website that i found for this is TED: Ideas worth spreading

they have alot of innovative topics besides medicine but atleast take a look at some of the medically related videos.
